Miranda

Miranda is a very nice person. She's friendly, energetic, and always willing to
help others. She's good at math and chemistry, when she's not cheerleading
Miranda is part of the student tutor program. Miranda is always an honor
student and even won last year's science fair award for best project.

Miranda was brought to the United States by her parents who are from Peru.
They both work two jobs so that the family can live in a safe quiet
neighborhood.
They do not have much, but they all appreciate and enjoy what they do have: each other.

Miranda is always happy on the outside. She hopes to attend community
college right after high school. She's pretty sure her main studies will involve chemistry.
Miranda expects to work while in school so she's not as much of a burden on her
parents. If she pays most of her way with student loans and part time jobs Miranda
hopes her dad can buy a better car since the one he has now is crap and is always
breaking down or needing dad's 'magic' fixes. Miranda really wants to graduate and
have a good job so she can buy her father a new car.

On the inside Miranda is in pain. The kids in school constantly tease her about
being deported 'back to Mexico' even though she's a naturalized citizen. The snob elite
girls talk down to her because she's poor.
Some of the guys pick on her and rudely talk about her ass, usually in front of her.

Miranda feels bad that she doesn't have well-to-do parents and that her clothes and
even her cell phone aren't new or the latest trend.
School has made her feel like no matter what she does she'll never be good enough.
She feels like if she's not rich she's not a real person.

Miranda misses Peru.
She remembers the beautiful forests and the local produce. The large family gatherings
that were always so happy and fun.
She misses being normal there and the acceptance she felt in school.

At least in community college she won't have to see the snobs or the jocks anymore.

Miranda is 16.



Grendel

Grendel is a goth movie buff, a vampire, and Taco Shack's second shift manager.

Grendel really enjoys being on-line. That's where people like him and others look up to him.
He has the most fangs in a game called Vampire Gorefest. It's a badge of honor for him.
If he's not at work or playing Vampire Gorefest, Grendel is watching movies. Vampire movies.

Every now and then he might watch a werewolf movie, but werewolves are so played out
and boring. He'll only watch to see how pathetic they are. Grendel remembers when Vampire Gorefest
added werewolves to the Outlands server and he and his followers joined just to destroy them all.
Grendel always keeps the number of werewolf kills listed on his profile. So no one forgets.

Grendel lives with his mom. He has the whole basement to himself. He would move out but
then no one would be around to do his laundry or drive him to the local goth stores.

Grendel used to date an emo girl names Miasma. She was short and fat and always had
on black clothes and make-up except for the different glitter of the day she would use.
Miasma was cool like that.
They broke up because Grendel couldn't afford tickets to the Blackest Pain tour, so Miasma
left Grendel for Darksoul.

It's okay though, Grendel has more time to play games and to blog about how vampires
are superior to all other forms of horror monsters. He still thinks about Miasma though.

Grendel has greasy hair and acne (cheese fry and soda diet anyone?). He's not allowed to
wear his fangs at work and if he can he's going to try and get the first shift manager job
after Peggy leaves for college.

Grendel's real name is Douglas.

Douglas is 27.



Sabrina

Sabrina is pregnant. She's not sure who the father is. Sabrina dates a lot.
She's just hoping the baby isn't black because then she won't be able to marry
a white guy.

Sabrina is hoping to have the baby, lose the baby fat, and then go find a guy
with a job and get pregnant again. That way she can get married.

If she has to, Sabrina will give the baby up for adoption. That way she increases her
chances of meeting a man.

She needs a guy to pay for her. Sabrina has trouble keeping a job. They're too hard.
Especially after she lost her driver's license for repeated offenses and causing two accidents.
Sabrina just wants to hangout and party. Working is a real drag and she's always getting the
suck jobs.

Sabrina wishes she wasn't knocked up because she wants to go clubbing this weekend.

Sabrina is 28.
