Ice Tomb

This is the spot where runoff from the roof meets the yard in an area that gets a lot of sunlight.
So the snow melted away into a chunky slush to reveal still green vegetation underneath.
That stuff has been frozen for a few weeks now, I'm surprised it's still that fresh looking.
After the storm two days ago that spot is under 9 inches of snow.
